may be totally kidding when she complained about the 17-hour day she spent on the set of Grey’s Anatomy during her visit on the Late Show with but not everyone found her remark funny.

"Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day," Heigl told last Monday, "which I think is cruel and mean."

Evidently, some sources told Emmy-winning TV writer and casual blogger Ken Levine that the Grey’s Anatomy actress was to blame for the 17-hour day in question.

"Poor . What she neglected to add was this: This ‘cruel’ shooting schedule was only to accommodate HER and her needs. The producers graciously shuffled things around so she could go off and do promotion for her new film. Also, with union rules, the producers had to pay a ton of overtime and penalties to make this happen. The thanks they get is going on national television hoping to embarrass them," Levine wrote on his blog.

As we all know, Heigl stars in the romantic comedy film The Ugly Truth, which was released in theaters on July 24. Consequently, she went on to promote her new movie but kept bringing up the 17-hour day she spent on the ABC medical drama during her press tour.

While Heigl has yet to comment on what really caused the painstaking work day, rumors of her turning from America’s sweetheart to Hollywood’s most difficult diva have already surfaced previously. According to the New York Daily News, the Grey’s Anatomy actress has sparked all kinds of rumors on the set of her latest movie, Killers, for allegedly demanding a series of requests, including insisting on flying via private plane to the film’s international locations and having crazy amounts of security.
